Wonderful reasons for the Spring season to be your favorite!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! The trout lily shot is gorgeous and I love seeing all your eastern birds.
ReplyDeleteGreat, inspiring series. You are so lucky yo have meadow larks!
ReplyDeleteSpring is my favorite season too. The common yellowthroats will be back any day now...and the yellow warblers...and the orioles, the grosbeaks, the indigo buntings. Actually early May is my absolute favorite and it's almost here!
ReplyDeleteA great time of the year; and some lovely birds.
ReplyDeleteSome very beautiful images here.

ReplyDeleteDonald, great collection of birds and photos. I love spring and the birds that pass thru.
ReplyDeleteWonderful series!
ReplyDeleteWith a host of birds like that, anyone would be glad to see spring. Excellent captures!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful insight of your spring.
ReplyDeleteLovely images.
I love the spring vibe you invoke Donald. I am smitten with Spring fever myself. I've got to tell you though, those in flight takes of the meadowlark and Purple martin are great. Small bird in flight pictures are the ultimate challenge and those are fast birds. Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteDonald, what a wonderful collection of photos! So many reasons to love spring! (BTW, we're from the same area!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of springtime birds!
ReplyDeleteThe caspian terns look like cartoon characters! Love the flowers. The last one (Dutchman something?) looks a lot like our Pacific Bleeding Heart.
